License

The License page shows the current license status of the application - whether it runs in demo mode, on a trial license, or is fully licensed - and allows you to activate it with a license key.

Demo mode​

After installation, the application runs in demo mode by default.

In demo mode, the application processes rules without any limitations, but it shuffles the subject of each message that is matched by rules - the words in the subject line are rearranged in a random order.

Messages that do not match any rule are delivered with their subject unchanged.

Trial​

When in trial mode, the application works like a fully licensed version. The only limitation is that it expires after 90 days.

To receive a trial license key, click the Get license key button. The application will contact the license server and retrieve a trial license key automatically.

If you have any issues receiving a trial license key, contact our support team at contact@mshsoftware.com and provide your License Id token.

To activate the application manually, click Enter license key and select the license.key file from disk.

License Id​

The License Id is a unique identifier of your application installation. You will need to provide this token when manually requesting a license key from our support team.

Automatic license synchronisation​

Each time the administrator panel connects to a server module, the license held by that server is sent to the license server, and a renewed or extended license key is saved on the server right away. This is the same request the Get license key button sends, without anyone pressing it. Every server that connects is synchronised on its own license, so a license renewed or extended after purchase reaches the server the next time you connect.

The synchronisation runs in the background and never shows a dialog. If the license server cannot be reached, the attempt is logged and the license the server already holds stays in use.

A demo license is left alone, because the license server does not renew one. The first trial key is still requested with the Get license key button.
